Albertini Abogados law firm, with more than 25 years of experience in Business Law, has been standing out for more than a decade in Corporate, Mining, and Dispute Resolution Law.
Its main partner, Giorgio Albertini, participated as the only representative of Peru in Madrid 2024 Mission, organized by the International Foundation of Liberty - Mario Vargas Llosa, whose agenda consisted of visits and meetings with the main business, political, and governmental leaders of Spain.
Regarding Mining Law, the firm has been advising and managing in Peru the operations of important foreign companies listed on international stock exchanges.
Among other assignments handled by the firm, the monitoring of a gold and silver project in Ancash, Peru, is being carried out, which aims to evaluate strategic options to maximize its value, following approaches from prospective buyers and increased interest from the local community. The project holds a Maiden JORC 2012 compliant mineral resource estimate of 6.7 million tonnes grading 1.23 g/t gold and 4.31 g/t silver, containing approximately 266,000 ounces of gold and 935,000 ounces of silver.
In addition, another of the firm's clients recently announced highly encouraging results from an IP/resistivity and ground magnetics geophysical survey at a mining project north of Lima, which supports the presence of a large porphyry system at depth, with multiple priority drill targets identified. The drilling program from earlier in 2024 confirmed significant copper, molybdenum, and silver mineralization, which is consistent with the new geophysical data.
In October, Albertini Abogados successfully completed the acquisition of an important gold processing plant on the border between Ayacucho and Arequipa, owned by a major Australian company, now with Peruvian partners, which will be repowered in 2025.
Furthermore, Giorgio Albertini is developing with his partners his new company LatCore, dedicated to the business management of mining properties and specialized mining consulting, with a portfolio of important mining projects in Peru.
