A Career Defined by Leadership and Transformation: Juan José Córdova Leaves KPMG in Peru

Our member company, KPMG in Peru, announces that Juan José Córdova, Audit Partner, will be leaving the Firm after 36 years of service within our organization.
Throughout his career, Juan José served as an Audit Partner and led the Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) and Risk Management practices. His decision reflects a personal choice, following the completion of a stage marked by growth, transformation, and the strengthening of the Firm’s position in the Peruvian market.
As part of this transition, Ronald Villalobos, Audit Partner, will assume leadership of Risk Management. Likewise, Juan Carlos Mejía, also an Audit Partner, has been appointed Head of Energy and Natural Resources.
Throughout his career, Juan José stood out for his leadership and technical expertise across key sectors such as energy, natural resources, industrial markets, consumer products, and retail. In his role, he supported various organizations through complex processes and contributed to strengthening the profession through his participation in technical and institutional forums, as well as through the development of academic knowledge related to auditing and accounting.
